‘A Chorus Line’ Coming to Arvada Center September 12

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is bringing the hit Broadway musical A Chorus Line to its Main Stage Theater.  Previews begin September 8th, and the formal run begins on September 12th.  Catch it Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM, Wednesday at 1 PM, or weekends at 2 PM.  Tickets for previews will cost you $36, and performances are $53.

A Chorus Line opened on Broadway at the Shubert Theater in 1975, and ran for over 6,000 performances.  It centers on a group of actors and actresses auditions to be chorus members in a Broadway show, and spilling out their own personal turmoil in the process.  It won 9 Tony Awards in 1976, and an additional Tony in 1984 for longest-running Broadway musical.

The Arvada Center does a fantastic job with so many of its productions, and no doubt A Chorus Line will be similarly well done.  Make sure to check it out!
